federal prison in Florence, Colorado, is a “supermax” facility known as
Florence ADX. It houses some of the country’s most notorious prisoners,
like Sept. 11 co-conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui and Unabomber Theodore
Kaczynski. The prison is among nearly a dozen in Colorado’s Prison
Valley.
